Free day at your disposal to enjoy this charming city, stroll along Calle Larios, the most emblematic street of the Costa del Sol. Visit its squares and narrow streets with more history. Like the Plaza del Obispo, from where you will have unique views of the Cathedral. Walk through the Plaza de la Merced or visit the Pablo Picasso's Birthplace Museum or appreciate the remains of the Roman Theatre and its incredible Alcazaba. Accommodation.
Today you will have the opportunity to visit Granada, with its famous Alhambra. The pick up point is at Avenida de Andalucía nº10. Bus stop nº11, in front of Caixa Bank at 08:00 in the morning.Departure to Granada, located about 130 kilometres from Malaga. On arrival, discover the beautiful historic centre of Granada with your guide. This city full of history has numerous monuments and sites of interest. Learn about the history of the souk, the Cathedral, the Royal Chapel and much more. Enjoy your free time to taste the famous and delicious tapas, go shopping, or take pictures in the emblematic buildings of the city centre. At the agreed time meet your guide for a guided tour of the Alhambra, learn about its historical significance. Declared a World Heritage Site, it is the most famous and best preserved Moorish building in Spain. You will discover the various decorative details around the monument, built in the 13th century. During the 13th and 14th centuries the Alhambra grew as a palatine city, until the Christian conquest of Granada. It later became a Royal House, the Captaincy General of the Kingdom of Granada and a military fortress until it was declared a monument. You can admire the rich architecture of the site, adapted to all the changes the complex has undergone over the centuries. Walk through the Generalife Gardens and marvel at what was the recreational area of the palace during the Nasrid dynasty. At the end of the tour we will return to our home destination on the Costa del Sol. Accommodation.
