Introduction

Dear Traveler, thank you for choosing The Molt Collection.
We have meticulously selected every tour and adventure to make sure that this will not just become another trip but the experience of a lifetime.
Here below is the itinerary. The information is indicative and may have variations on designated tours.

Day
We will travel to the city of Bern, capital of the country and of the Bern-Oberland region. Bern is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, being one of the best testimonies of medieval urbanism in Europe. We will visit the Alstadt (old town) with its famous clock tower Zytgloggeturm and its busy streets with 6 kilometers of arcades, one of the longest covered shopping promenades in Europe.
In the morning, after breakfast, we will drive to Interlaken, the alpine town between lakes and the gateway to the Jungfrau region. Via a funicular railway we will reach the summit of Harder Kulm (1321m), one of the most famous panoramic terraces of the Bernese Alps with views of the lakes of Thun and Brienz and the summit of the Jungfrau.
In the afternoon we will visit Interlaken and head to the valley of the 72 waterfalls, Lauterbrunnen, to take the rack railway to our next destination, Wengen. We will watch the sunset with the mythical ‘Alpineglow’ from one of the most beautiful car-free villages in Switzerland.
Early in the morning we start our adventure by taking the cable car up to Männlichen (2,343 m). Once at the top, the panoramic trail awaits us (low difficulty and flat) to walk among the heights with a fascinating panorama, where we will go towards Kleine Scheidegg, the foot of the Eiger glacier and the Jungfrau.
We will climb up to the Eigergletscher (glacier). Option to climb the Jungfraujoch, the highest railway station in Europe.
We start the day in Lauterbrunnen, known as the village of waterfalls. There we take the gondola lift to Grutschalp and continue the route by taking a scenic train to the alpine village of Mürren. An enchanting place that looks like something out of a fairy tale. We cross the village to take the next gondola lift to the top of the Schilthorn - Piz Gloria (2970 m), where the James Bond film ‘007 on Her Majesty's Secret Service’, produced in 1969, was filmed. We descend to Birg for the more adventurous to walk the Thrill Walk, a suspension bridge walk along the Schitlhorn cliffs or simply enjoy the panoramic terrace. In the afternoon, we will head to Stechelberg (922m) to go inside the Trummelbach glacier waterfall, via an Indiana Jones-style lift.
We say goodbye to Wengen and take a boat to sail across Lake Brienz to the valley of Haslital. Once in this charming village we will head to Meiringen, a Swiss village which will be our sleeping base for the next excursions.
In the afternoon, we will visit the glacial gorge of Aareschlucht. On this 1.5 kilometre route, we will pass through tunnels and a footbridge clinging to the canyon walls. As we enter this amazing gorge, we will see the marvel that nature has created over time.
At the end of this route we return to Meiringen to rest.
The most adrenaline-pumping day of the whole tour begins! We'll head to Haggen to cross its suspension bridge that will take us to the station of the alpine roller coaster, Gelmerbahn. For a pure adrenaline experience, a gradient of up to 106% makes this the steepest single car funicular in Europe - an experience for the adventurous with unimaginable views! We will arrive at Gelmersee, one of the most crystal clear lakes in the Bernese Oberland, where we can stroll around and take breathtaking pictures.
On the way back, we recommend a stroll through Meiringen to see the statue dedicated to Sherlock Holmes.
Time to go to the most charming city in the whole country, Lucerne through the Interlaken-Luzern Express panoramic train. Surrounded by the Lake of the four Cantons, this city is located right in the center of Switzerland.
Lucerne is known for its impressive medieval architecture, its breathtaking lakeside location and its location surrounded by the high pre-alpine mountains - a picture postcard location! From here, we will start the Dragon Ride, a gondola lift that will take us up to Mount Pilatus (2119 meters). At this viewpoint we feel small in front of so much majesty, with a 360º panoramic view of the whole of Switzerland. In the afternoon, we will visit the most emblematic points of the city such as the medieval bridge, the lion and the many homemade chocolate stores.
It was time to say goodbye to this great adventure in Switzerland and say goodbye with the last breakfast in the land of cheese and chocolate.
