Be a Polo Player for the Day - Polo Day is an ideal program for those interested in learning the secrets of one of the most unique sports our country has to offer. We start the day with an explanatory talk about the sport and the polo pony. While tasting empanadas and wine, a horse trainer will explain how the polo ponies are chosen for the sport, their bloodlines, and how they are trained. Visitors can also watch practice drills and learn about what it takes to train a great polo pony. Afterward, professional players will play a real polo match. With more than 30 horses used and a fast-paced game happening right there, this experience is the only event that features a live and full polo game. The experience begins at Lote 8 Olive oil plantations where we will learn about the Olive oil production in Uruguay and enjoy an olive oil tasting.
We will then continue onto Viña Eden located on the rocky outcrops of Pueblo Eden and the panoramic Route 12, an exceptional place where wines combine the climate of the hills and freshness of the Atlantic Ocean. Enjoy a tasting of the Eden Wines including a Chardonnay, a typical Tannat Reserva and the Cerro Negro wine. Hectares of olive trees and vineyards surround the village, making this region known as the "Uruguayan Tuscany".

The tour begins with a visit to the amazing Garzon Winery with tasting included. Built atop a rocky outcrop, the winery offers amazing views of the vineyards located within rocky hillsides with mineral-intense, well-draining soils that create high-quality grapes.
