Introduction

Dear Traveler, thank you for choosing The Molt Collection.
We have meticulously selected every tour and adventure to make sure that this will not just become another trip but the experience of a lifetime.
Here below is the itinerary. The information is indicative and may have variations on designated tours.

Day
07:30-08:00 hrs. Meeting at hotels. Departure to Puebla de los Angeles, to visit Santa Maria Tonantzintla, a temple beautifully decorated by indigenous hands. Arrival in Puebla: the Chapel of the Rosary, the Cathedral, the Main Square and the Historical Centre. Lunch. Departure to Oaxaca. Arrival and accommodation.
Breakfast. In the morning we will go to Monte Alban, an archaeological site built on a mountain, where we will find evidence of the Olmec, Zapotec and Mixtec cultures: The Great Plaza, the Observatory, Tomb No. 7, the Stelae of the Dancers. We will visit the Tule Tree, perhaps the largest living being in the world. We will visit Oaxaca, a beautiful colonial city, including the Cathedral, the magnificent temple of Santo Domingo and the Gold Museum. In the evening we will enjoy a small mezcal tasting from a terrace overlooking the church in the centre. Overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure to Mitla, the city of the dead, an important site of beautiful decoration based on symbolic fretwork. Continuation to the Isthmus of Tehuantepec to travel through it until we reach our next destination. Lunch en route. Continuation to Tehuantepec. Dinner. Lodging.
Breakfast. Departure to Tuxtla Gutierrez, capital of the state of Chiapas. We will enjoy the landscape offered by the orography and the flora of the Sierra. Boat trip through the imposing Sumidero Canyon, which is nearly a thousand metres high at its highest point. We will pass through Chiapa de Corzo en route to San Cristobal. Overnight stay.
Breakfast. Visit of San Juan Chamula and Zinacantán, autochthonous indigenous populations, which conserve their traditions, language, religious beliefs and social organisation. The church, housing and clothing are worth seeing. Free afternoon. We suggest a walk through this beautiful city and visit the typical market, Santo Domingo, the Cathedral, the Herbal Museum and the Jade Museum, where there is a replica of the tomb of King Pakal. Accommodation.
Breakfast. Continuation to the beautiful turquoise waterfalls of Agua Azul. Possibility of swimming. Continue to Palenque. Accommodation.
Breakfast and visit to the archaeological site of Palenque, located in the jungle. One of the most important of the Mayan World, both for its historical findings and its beauty. Inside the Pyramid of the Inscriptions, the sarcophagus of King Pakal was found, with a tombstone engraved in relief. Temple of the Foliated Cross, Temple of the Sun and the Palace. Continuation to a beautiful panoramic view of the Gulf of Mexico. Continue to the beautiful walled city of Campeche. Panoramic tour. 20:00 hrs Dinner at Marganzo restaurant. Overnight stay.
Breakfast. Departure to Uxmal. Visit of this archaeological site of great architectural beauty: the Pyramid of the Soothsayer, the Quadrangle of the Nuns, the Governor's Palace, the Ball Game. Lunch. Continuation to Merida, ‘The White City’ where we will have a panoramic tour: The Paseo de Montejo, the Monument to the Homeland, the Main Square with the Cathedral and the Government Palaces. We will have our farewell dinner in one of the best restaurants in Merida with contemporary Mexican food and a cosy atmosphere. Overnight stay.
06:30 hrs. Breakfast. 07:00 hrs. Departure to Chichen Itza, the most renowned Mayan city in Mexico. Archaeological site where advanced archaeo-astronomical knowledge is revealed. It has the stepped pyramid called the Castle or Temple of Kukulcan, the Ball Game, the platform of the Skulls, the Temple of the Jaguars, the Observatory, the Square of the Thousand Columns, the Sacred Cenote. Arrival at the majestic cenote IK KIL. Possibility to swim. Lunch. Continuation to Cancun. Arrival at the hotels. Overnight stay.
