We have meticulously selected every tour and adventure to make sure that this will not just become another trip but the experience of a lifetime.
Here below is the itinerary. The information is indicative and may have variations on designated tours.
Day
Arrival in London, transfer from any London airport or station to the hotel and free time in the city. Overnight.
Breakfast. Meeting at 08:45 hrs at the hotel reception with the guide. We will have a panoramic tour of the city, starting with the ‘West End’ of London, we will see Hyde Park, Piccadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square, residential and shopping areas, the Westminster Quarter, passing by 10 Downing Street, the Prime Minister's residence, Parliament Square with the spectacular Westminster Abbey and the Palace of Westminster where the famous ‘Big Ben’ is located. The tour ends in Covent Garden where we will have free time for lunch. Afternoon at leisure to enjoy the city. Overnight stay.
After breakfast we will travel north, where we will stop in the small medieval town of Stamford, which was very important commercially thanks to its strategic position. Here we will have free time for lunch and a stroll through the streets. We will continue our tour to the city of York, where we will visit its old town, famous for its medieval buildings and its splendid cathedral, the largest in Northern Europe. Overnight in the centre of York.
Breakfast. Departure to the majestic Alnwick Castle. We will visit this spectacular building which has almost 1000 years of history and has recently been the setting for famous scenes in the Harry Potter films and the Downton Abbey series. After this visit we will head back to Edinburgh. Accommodation in Edinburgh city centre.
Breakfast. In the morning we will visit this illustrious Scottish city. We will see the famous street named "Royal Mile", known as the most important street in Edinburgh as it connects the Edinburgh Castle (entrance included) and the Palace of Holyrood, official residence of the king in Scotland. Afternoon free to stroll in the old town and enjoy the atmosphere of this charming city. Overnight.
After breakfast we will depart for the north of Scotland. After crossing the spectacular Forth Bridge we will stop in the beautiful village of Falkland, used as the 18th century Inverness for the filming of the famous Outlander series. Visit a whisky distillery with a whisky tasting. Continue to St. Andrews, a charming medieval town famous for being the birthplace of golf and having the oldest university in the country. Afterwards, we will follow the route in the direction of Pitlochry. Finally we will continue to the hotel in the Highlands. Dinner and overnight.
Breakfast. We start the day visiting Loch Ness, the most famous loch in Scotland because of the legend that tells that the monster "Nessie" lives there. We will take a boat trip on the lake from which you can admire the majestic landscapes of the Highlands and the imposing ruins of Urquhart Castle. Then we will continue through Fort Augustus to Fort William where we will have free time for lunch and enjoy the place. We will continue to Glasgow where we will make a panoramic visit of the city. Arrival at the hotel, accommodation.
Breakfast. In the morning we will go to the port of Cairnryan where we will take the ferry to Belfast, capital of Northern Ireland. We will have a panoramic view of Belfast, a city full of cultural proposals. Its four large districts or 'quarters' (Cathedral, Titanic, Queen and Gaeltacht) are divided into museums, pubs and art galleries. We will have free time with the option to enter the Titanic Museum, six floors that tell its history and construction, and the city of Belfast. Dinner and overnight in downtown Belfast.
Breakfast at the hotel. Departure to the Giant's Causeway, a spectacular natural formation of prismatic basalt columns. Continue to Derry and a walking tour of the historic city centre, surrounded by the original city walls still intact. Afternoon drive to Sligo, a charming town and birthplace of Ireland's most famous writer, William Buttler Yeats. Dinner and hotel accommodation in Sligo.
Breakfast at hotel. Depart for Galway, a port city on the west coast of Ireland, located where the River Corrib flows into the Atlantic Ocean. The beating heart of the city is Eyre Square, a square dating back to the 18th century, surrounded by traditional shops and pubs where you can often hear live folk music. Not far away are the winding lanes of the Latin Quarter, where part of the medieval city walls remain. Continue to the Cliffs of Moher where you can experience the thrill of walking on Ireland's most famous cliffs. Crossing the spectacular coastline of County Clare we will arrive in Limerick, situated near the estuary of the River Shannon. Dinner and hotel accommodation.
Breakfast and visit the Rock of Cashel, also known as St. Patrick's Rock, which was the main residence of the kings of Munster from 370 to 1101. Continuation to Kilkenny, where we will have free time to enjoy this charming medieval town. In the afternoon arrival in Dublin and overnight.
Breakfast. Panoramic tour of the city passing through the Customs House, Dublin Castle, Phoenix Park, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Trinity College, the oldest university in Ireland, founded by Queen Elizabeth I in 1592 and home to the famous "Book of Kells". Free afternoon. Overnight.
Breakfast. We will go to the port of Dublin to take the ferry to Holyhead, located in Wales. We will enjoy the beautiful scenery of this country. We will pass by Conwy Castle, where we will stop to take pictures, before continuing eastward to reach the famous city of Liverpool. We will make a panoramic visit and admire the city where "The Beatles" were born. Overnight in the center of Liverpool.
Breakfast. Departure to Shakespeare's hometown, Stratford-Upon-Avon. We will walk through this small but charming town where we can take pictures of the house where the famous writer, William Shakespeare, was born. We will continue to London, but first, we will visit Oxford, known as the city of dreaming spires. It is home to one of the most prestigious universities in the world. We will walk through its charming streets and pass through several of its colleges. We continue to London. Overnight.
