Arrival in Auckland Reception at the airport by the guide and transferred to the hotel. Rest of the day free. Accommodation.

Breakfast. We start the day with a visit to the West Coast, particularly in the Muriwai Regional Park, its main characteristic is its black sand coast. This beach is very popular for surfing and is also home to a colony of gannets. These magnificent birds expand their wings to more than a meter in length. We continue our visit to the Auckland Museum with its interesting collection of Maori and Polynesian art and relics, then we will visit the Parnell neighborhood where we will take a walk through one of the oldest neighborhoods in Auckland, then towards Mission Bay. Afterwards we will head back to the city center to visit the Viaduct, followed by a visit to the Sky Tower, the 328-meter-high Auckland Tower. From there you can admire a unique view of the city and its two bays: Waitemata and Manukau.

Breakfast. Departure to Waitomo to visit the famous luminous grub caves, known as Waitomo Glowworm Caves. We will begin the journey south of Auckland through the Bombay Hills, passing through the rich agricultural region of Waikato. The highlight of the visit is a boat ride along the Waitomo River, to see thousands of glowing worm lights that form the Glowworm Grotto. As you enter this galaxy of tiny living lights, you will experience a serene atmosphere and be fascinated and intrigued by the little glow worms that illuminate your path. At the end of the visit, you will enjoy a traditional New Zealand-style barbecue at a local restaurant. After lunch we will continue to the hotel in Rotorua. In the afternoon we will visit Te Puia, Thermal Reserve and Maori Cultural Center with the New Zealand National Institute of Arts and Crafts, where a prestigious wood carving school operates. In this reserve you will see various boiling silica and mud deposits and you will take a tour of the geysers that are part of it. You will be welcomed in the traditional way and watch a demonstration of Maori dance and song. They will enjoy the typical Maori cultural dinner.

Breakfast. Morning visit to the Waimangu Thermal Reserve, an extensive valley with abundant geothermal activity, where you can see the effect of the eruption of Mount Tarawera in 1886. At the end, transfer to Rotorua airport to take the flight with destination to Christchurch. Arrival, pick up at the airport and then enjoy a brief tour of the city center, at the end, transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Breakfast. Today we will discover the surroundings of Chirstchurch and at mid-morning we will travel to Lake Tekapo, a beautiful alpine lake with crystal clear turquoise waters surrounded by mountains, where you will have the opportunity to visit the emblematic Church of the Good Shepherd. In the afternoon, our Kiwi hosts will welcome you into their home to enjoy a delicious dinner and you will have the opportunity to taste the famous New Zealand dessert, Pavlova. Transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.

Breakfast. In the morning, departure from Tekapo. During the tour you will see impressive views of Mount Cook, the highest peak in the country (3750m) and turquoise glacial lakes. Continuation of the trip through the MacKenzie Country area. Visiting the “Bungy Bridge” (jump not included) where the well-known “Bungee Jumping” originated. Later, you will visit a vineyard in the Central Otago region where you will enjoy a tasting of locally produced wines with lunch. At the end, continuation to Te Anau. Arrival and accommodation.

Breakfast. Full-day excursion to Milford Sound, traveling through the Fjords National Park. A boat ride will take you out to the Tasman Sea, where you can appreciate the magnificent fjord, Miter Peak and Bowen Falls. Lunch is included during the trip. After the cruise, travel to Queenstown by bus, or you can return by small plane or helicopter, flying over this park of high waterfalls, jungle, coasts, rivers and valleys until you reach the city (additional cost). This reservation will be made at the destination because it is extremely subject to weather conditions. Accommodation.

If canceled, the excursion to Doubtful Sound will be offered, paying an additional supplement directly to the Real Journeys company. There is no lock on the Doubtful Sound tour, so it is subject to availability on the day of travel.

Today you will take a half-day tour of the Queenstown area, including a visit to the traditional mining town of Arrowtown.The tour will end back in Queenstown town with a Skyline cable car ride to the top of Bob's Peak for spectacular panoramic views of the region. Rest of the afternoon at leisure.
