Day
Welcome to the bustling metropolis of Cairo. Settled on the banks of the Nile for more than a thousand years, this exciting capital offers everything a tourist could ask for and more: ancient monuments, culture and gastronomy mixed with the frenetic bustle of life. Pick up at the airport by your Spanish-speaking guide and transfer to the hotel in a luxury air-conditioned vehicle. During the journey, your guide will give you all the information about the excursions for the next few days. Accommodation.
Breakfast. Picked up by your guide to visit one of the remaining Seven Wonders of the World, the ancient Pyramids of Giza with their guardian the Sphinx. These incredible structures, each dedicated to a different pharaoh, are a testament to the richness and importance of Egyptian civilization 4,000 years ago. The Egyptian pharaohs hoped to become gods in the afterlife. In order to prepare for the afterlife they erected temples to the gods and enormous pyramidal tombs for themselves, filled with everything each ruler would need to guide and sustain themselves in the afterlife. Along with the famous Sphinx, a mysterious limestone monument with the body of a lion and the head of a pharaoh, which before the 19th century spent thousands of years buried in the sand with only its head visible. He was probably the sentinel of Pharaoh Khafre's funerary complex. This is an essential visit to understand Egyptian civilization. Lunch and continuation to the Sakkara necropolis where we can admire the famous step pyramid of Djoser. 100 years before the construction of the Pyramids of Giza, the renowned architect Imhotep decided to expand the mastaba tomb of Pharaoh Djoser to turn it into the first pyramid of the history. With its 60 meters high, it was the most grandiose construction that the Egyptians had undertaken up to that time. Return to the hotel and accommodation.
Breakfast. In the morning visit to the Museum of Egyptian Art, the richest and oldest museum of Egyptian antiquities in the world (it is more than 120 years old) relevant, not only for the quantity of objects it exhibits but also for the quality of some of them. It ts examples that allow us to appreciate more than 4000 years of history, culture and art of this ancient civilization. At the end of the tour there will be time to visit the renowned treasure of Prince Pharaoh Tutankhamun. The funerary trousseau that Howard Carter found in 1922 in the famous tomb of the Valley of the Kings contained everything necessary to guarantee the pharaoh a peaceful and safe afterlife. Here lunch. In the afternoon we will make a charming visit to the Alabaster Mosque located in the Saladin Citadel, in the heart of Cairo, which was the residence of the rulers of Egypt for more than 700 years. Today it is an area with museums, mosques and viewpoints that offers the best visits to the capital. Return to the hotel and accommodation.
Breakfast. Transfer to Cairo airport to take the flight to Aswan. Arrival and transfer through the desert to the renowned Abu Simbel Temples located on the shore of Lake Nasser. Carved in the rocks of the Nubian Desert, with statues up to 30 meters high, they pay tribute to the great Pharaoh Ramses II and his wife Nefertari. Check in at the Hotel and in the afternoon visit the temples built to celebrate his victory in the Battle of Kadesh. They symbolize the power of the pharaoh with its four gigantic colossi that preside over the façade, representing Ramses II enthroned and deified, and transmitting to each visitor a overwhelming feeling of dominance and splendor. Return to the hotel and dinner, at night departure to witness the Sound and Lights show in the Temples. Accommodation.

The Pharaohs who held great powers in life were mummified and scented with luxurious perfumes to accompany them in their new life in the afterlife. Lunch on board. Sailing north to the Kom Ombo Temple and visiting the Temple, which is particularly strange because it is double, dedicated to both the god Haroeris, with the head of a hawk, and the god Sobeck, with the head of a crocodile, it is completely symmetrical. It has two entrances, two hypostyle rooms - roofs supported by columns - and two sanctuaries. It also has a curious museum dedicated to crocodiles, a space that exhibits mummies of these animals that were found around the city. Dinner and night on board.
