WELCOME to Tromsø, home of the Northern Lights. After disembarking, take the regular Flybussen service to your hotel. The journey is approximately 5 km. Make sure you have your vouchers ready to present to the driver. Once you have settled into your hotel, you will have free time to explore this charming northern city and take a night tour to the Fjellheisen cable car, which offers unparalleled views, one of the best places to see the city of Tromsø and the possibility (weather permitting) of seeing the Northern Lights. Our TMC tour guide will meet you at reception at 6 p.m. to explain everything you need to know about the next few days on this unforgettable tour.

A short trip will take you to the lower station of the Fjellheisen cable car, ready to ascend the picturesque peak of Mount Storsteinen! You will enjoy breathtaking views as you reach the top in the blink of an eye. Join us on the famous Tromsø Cable Car for unparalleled views of Tromsø's islands, fjords and mountains. This is also the perfect place to see the famous Northern Lights. The Fjellheisen was built in 1961 by Brødrene Jakobsens Rederi, a shipping company that operated extensively with polar hunting, fishing and expeditions in the Arctic and Antarctic. The Fjellheisen Cable Car runs from Solliveien in Tromsdalen to the mountain Storsteinen. The lower station is located on the Tromsø mainland, 50 metres above sea level. The upper station, Fjellstua, is 421 metres above sea level. The trip takes four minutes.
After breakfast, you will meet your English-speaking guide at reception at 10 am. A 2-hour panoramic tour to discover the historical charms of Tromsø, a city marked by Sami traditions. Tromsø has a rich, colourful and extensive history, but its polar history adds a fascinating dimension. We will take a historical tour of the city, enriching its cultural capital and becoming fascinated by all the great personalities who have called Tromsø home. We will visit the Arctic Cathedral, Tromsø Cathedral, and stroll through colourful streets with venerable wooden houses and cosy, secluded cafés.
In the evening, we suggest an optional experience with reindeer at a northern lights viewing camp.

At Aurora Spa, we find ourselves surrounded by elements that symbolise our lives, from everyday life to relaxation. Stone, wood and water: materials that represent freshness, warmth and essence, all natural elements present in the nature, communities and cultures of Lapland. These deeply rooted elements are the guiding principles of our spa. This natural concept has evolved to include much more, especially fascinating contrasts.
Swedish Lapland and Kiruna are rich in contrasts that enrich the lives of those who live here, and we are proud to share them with our guests. Aurora Spa invites you to wander between indoors and outdoors, warmth and cold, soothing water and crystalline snow. Relax indoors and gaze at the white winter landscape through the panoramic windows, or feel the refreshing caress of the polar winter on your cheek as you wrap yourself in the warm comfort of our outdoor pool. And if you're lucky, you may see the colourful northern lights.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will take a trip to Jukkasjärvi (20 km, 30 minutes). We will continue on to the world's first and largest ice hotel, made of snow and ice. The ‘Icehotel’ has been celebrated every year for three decades. You can admire the grandeur of this unexpected structure, where great artists carve the ice with different themes.
Lunch included. Return to the hotel. In the afternoon and evening, there is free time to explore the surroundings or take advantage of the hotel facilities.
In the evening, we recommend the optional excursion to Abisko with dinner included in search of the Northern Lights, or the second optional snowmobile excursion in search of the Northern Lights. After this option, we return to the hotel.

From Kiruna, we head into the night. Our goal is to see the Northern Lights, learn more about the local nature and culture, and visit the famous Abisko. Through the window, we see the stars and, with luck, a flash of green auroras in the sky. An hour and a half later, we arrive to enjoy a three-course dinner in the village of Abisko. We talk about nature, Sami culture, the Northern Lights and local history. We can never guarantee that we will see the aurora, but if the weather is good after dinner, we will take a walk around the Abisko area to enjoy the scenery and look for the Northern Lights. Our local guides are qualified photographers, so if you bring your camera, we will help you take pictures. If the weather is not favourable in Abisko, we will make our way back to Kiruna and, with any luck, the sky will be clear and we will be able to stop to see the Northern Lights.
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, we will continue our journey by private bus from Kiruna, Sweden, to Rovaniemi, Finland. We will make a brief stop in Pello for lunch (not included). It will be a fascinating journey through the stunning landscapes of the northern Arctic. Along the way, we will encounter rugged mountains and vast forests, crossing extensive snow-covered lands in winter, where frozen lakes and scattered birch trees create a magical atmosphere.
Following the Torne River valley, which marks the border between Sweden and Finland, the landscape combines the tranquillity of small villages with traditional wooden houses and spectacular views of the natural environment. Crossing into Finland, the Finnish region of Lapland unfolds with its serene beauty, offering an uninterrupted landscape of forests, rolling hills and, in winter, expanses of ice and snow that look like something out of a fairy tale.
We arrive in the afternoon and stay in an unforgettable GLASS igloo, and if we are lucky, we can watch the Northern Lights!
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we will try out the Sampo icebreaker. Without a doubt, one of the best experiences you can have in the Arctic. We will board this new and impressive icebreaker. During the trip, we can walk around and visit any of its corners or relax in the lounge with a hot drink. We will make a 3-hour crossing on the ship, and the best part of the activity takes place when the ship breaks through the ice at the stern. It is a moment that we cannot miss, as we will have the chance to take a dip in the Bosnian Sea. Lunch included. After this unforgettable experience, we will return to Rovaniemi, which is about 115 km from your destination. Free afternoon to stroll around this charming city or take an optional tour.
