At 6:20 p.m. we will get ready to leave for the train station and board the legendary Northern Lights train, which will take us along the historic Ofeten railway. This incredible journey will lead us to get lost in the immensity of the Arctic night following the footprint of the dark skies to have all the possibilities of witnessing the Northern Lights. After a short stop at Bjørnfjell station bordering Sweden, we will continue to Katterat station where we will descend for a total immersion in the Arctic night where we will gather around a cozy open-air campfire to enjoy delicious hot drinks and freshly baked pastries waiting to enjoy the sublime natural spectacle of the Northern Lights. At 10 p.m. you will board the train back to Narvik again. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Accommodation.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the train station to depart at 10:25 am from Narvik to Kiruna aboard an authentic train that will take us from Norway to Sweden, having the opportunity to admire breathtaking landscapes during the journey (4-4.5 hours approx.). This train is the most used by Norwegians and Swedes to reach the different ski practice points and the city of Kiruna. Once we arrive at Kiruna station we will go to our hotel. Free afternoon. Dinner included at your hotel at 6:30 p.m. Free evening to relax and get to know more of Swedish Lapland and have the opportunity to enjoy Aurora SPA (not included), highly recommended to have a unique experience of Saunas and why not dive directly into the cold water. This will be an unforgettable experience. Overnight at the hotel.

At Aurora Spa we find all around us the elements that symbolize our lives, from everyday life to relaxation. Stone, wood and water: materials that represent freshness, warmth and essence, all natural elements present in the nature, communities and cultures of Lapland. These deep-rooted elements are the guiding principles of our spa. This natural concept evolved to include much more, especially fascinating contrasts. Swedish Lapland and Kiruna are rich in contrasts that enrich the lives of those who live here, and we are proud to be able to share them with our guests. Aurora Spa invites you to stroll between the interior and exterior, the heat and cold, the soothing water and the crystal clear snow. Relax indoors and enjoy the white winter landscape through the panoramic windows, or feel the refreshing caress of polar winter on your cheek as you wrap yourself in the warm comfort of our outdoor pool. And if you're lucky, the colorful Northern Lights.
Breakfast at the hotel. Today we will make an excursion to Jukkasjärvi (20 km, 30 minutes). We continue to the world's first and largest ice hotel built with snow and ice. Admission included. The "Icehotel" takes place every year and for the last three decades. You will be able to admire the grandeur of this unexpected structure, where great artists sculpt ice with a different theme. After admiring and enjoying the ice hotel, we head to a typical Swedish restaurant to enjoy a succulent buffet lunch typical of the region and then return to the hotel. Afternoon and evening free to explore the surroundings or enjoy the facilities of the hotel. In the evening we recommend taking an optional snowmobile ride or a visit to the Abisko National Park. From Kiruna, we drive into the night by car. Our goal is to see the Northern Lights, learn more about nature and local culture, and visit the famous Abisko. Through the window, we see the stars and, hopefully, a flash of green auroras in the sky. An hour and a half later, we arrived to enjoy a three-course dinner in the village of Abisko. We talked about nature, Sami culture, the Northern Lights and local history. We can never guarantee that we will see the aurora, but if the weather is nice after dinner, we will take a walk around the Abisko area to enjoy the scenery and look for the Northern Lights. Our local guides are qualified photographers, so if you bring your camera, we will help you take photos. If the weather is not good in Abisko, we start the trip back to Kiruna and, with luck, the sky clears and we can stop to see the Northern Lights.
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we will head in our private bus from Kiruna, in Sweden, to Rovaniemi, in Finland. We will make a short stop in Pello for lunch (not included). It will be a fascinating tour through the stunning landscapes of the Nordic Arctic. On the way we will find steep mountains and vast forests, you will cross extensive snow-covered lands in winter, where frozen lakes and scattered birch trees create a magical atmosphere. Crossing into Finland, the Finnish region of Lapland unfolds with its serene beauty, offering an uninterrupted landscape of forests, gentle hills and, in winter, expanses of ice and snow that look like something out of a fairy tale.
Arrival in the afternoon to stay in an incredible Igloo (except departure on February 11 – accommodation in a standard room at Santa's Hotel Santa Claus) and if we are lucky, we will be able to observe the Northern Lights!
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning we left Rovaniemi for Kemi to experience the icebreaker Sampo. Without a doubt, one of the best experiences that can be done in the Arctic. We will board this brand new and imposing icebreaker vessel. The icebreaker is located in the port of Ajos, in Kemi. During the journey we can walk and visit any of its corners or relax in the lounge with a hot drink. We will make a 3-hour crossing on the ship and the best part of the activity comes when the ship opens an ice-free hole in the stern. It is a moment that we cannot miss in any way, having the possibility of taking a swim in the Sea of Bothnia. Lunch included.
After this unforgettable experience, we will head towards Rovaniemi which is about 115 km away. Free evening to stroll around this charming city or take an optional excursion.
Optional: Northern Lights Viewing Picnic

We will meet at the starting point with the guide to board the unit that will take us to a secluded point in the city to have a proper view of the night sky. Once at the indicated point, you will enjoy a lucky Lappish picnic under the immensity of the Northern Lights. The picnic includes sausages, pastries, and hot drinks.
Breakfast at your hotel. This morning we will visit the magical Santa Claus Village. Here, you'll have the chance to meet Santa Claus in person, send postcards from his official post office, and explore a world where Christmas never ends. Enjoy the gift shops and craft boutiques, perfect for shopping for unique souvenirs. The photo with Santa Claus is not to be missed.
