The journey is approximately 58 km. Please ensure you have your voucher ready to show the driver. Arrival at the hotel, check-in and free time. We suggest choosing a flight arriving in Narvik no later than 16:00, so that you have the opportunity to take the evening train ride.
INCLUDED: Northern Lights Train
Breakfast at the hotel. This morning, we’ll head to Narvik in our private coach – a charming town nestled amongst spectacular fjords and mountains. Arrival in Narvik. Check-in and perhaps some free time to visit the Narvik War Museum before we set off on our evening train tour. At 18:20, we’ll get ready to head to the train station and board the legendary Northern Lights train, which will take us along the historic Ofoten Railway. This incredible journey will allow us to lose ourselves in the vastness of the Arctic night, following the path of the dark skies to maximise our chances of witnessing the Northern Lights. After a brief stop at Bjørnfjell station on the Swedish border, we will continue to Katterat station, where we will disembark for a total immersion in the Arctic night. We will gather around a cosy outdoor bonfire to enjoy delicious hot drinks and freshly baked pastries, hoping to witness the sublime natural spectacle of the Northern Lights. At 10 pm, we board the train back to Narvik. Arrival and transfer to the hotel.
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the train station to board the 10.25 am train from Narvik to Kiruna on board an authentic train that will take us from Norway to Sweden. This is the train most commonly used by Norwegians and Swedes to reach the city of Kiruna. Upon arrival at Kiruna station, we will head to our hotel. Free afternoon. Evening at leisure to take part in the optional Aurora SPA, highly recommended for a unique sauna experience and, why not, a dip straight into the cold water. A unique moment that will stay with you forever! Overnight stay at the hotel.

At Aurora Spa, we are surrounded by elements that symbolise our lives, from everyday existence to relaxation. Stone, wood and water: materials that represent freshness, warmth and essence, all natural elements found in the nature, communities and cultures of Lapland. These deeply rooted elements are the guiding principles of our spa. This natural concept has evolved to encompass much more, particularly fascinating contrasts. Swedish Lapland and Kiruna are rich in contrasts that enrich the lives of those who live here, and we are proud to share them with our guests. The Aurora Spa invites you to wander between indoors and outdoors, warmth and cold, soothing water and crystalline snow. Relax indoors and gaze out at the white winter landscape through the panoramic windows, or feel the refreshing caress of the polar winter on your cheek whilst enveloped in the warm comfort of our outdoor pool. And if you’re lucky, you might catch a glimpse of the colourful Northern Lights.

You will be able to admire the grandeur of this unexpected structure, where renowned artists carve the ice with a different theme each year.
