Introduction

Dear Traveler, thank you for choosing The Molt Collection.
We have meticulously selected every tour and adventure to make sure that this will not just become another trip but the experience of a lifetime.
Here below is the itinerary. The information is indicative and may have variations on designated tours.

Day
Arrival in Helsinki and private transfer to the hotel. Registration and free time. We recommend you visit Senate Square, the historic heart with Helsinki Cathedral (Tuomiokirkko), a neoclassical icon with a green dome, and government buildings. A few steps away, the Uspensky Orthodox Cathedral stands out with its golden domes and Russian-Byzantine style. Wander through the Old Market Hall (Vanha Kauppahalli) to sample salmon, reindeer meat, or moose charcuterie. In the Market Square, next to the port, the lively atmosphere and the fish soups are not to be missed. In Sibelius Park, the monument to the composer Jean Sibelius with its 600 steel pipes creates melodies with the wind. Accommodation
Breakfast. City Tour Included. We leave with the guide for a 3-hour private tour of the Finnish capital. This panoramic tour will allow us to admire the history and architecture of the "white city of the north". We will admire the Orthodox Church of the Trinity, the Senate Square and the White Cathedral, a Lutheran church with a circular floor plan carved into the rock whose dome is shaped like a gigantic spiral of copper wires. Later we will see the Bank of Finland and one of the main attractions of the capital, the Uspenski Cathedral, with reddish colors and enormous dimensions that make it the largest Orthodox church in Western Europe. We also visit the Market Square, where you can get closer to the busy life of the locals and get to know their particular lifestyle. At the indicated time, we will transfer to the train station to board the famous Santa Claus train. This double-decker train offers a unique experience in northern Finland. Departure at 9:00 p.m. Night on board. Arrival in the morning hours in Rovaniemi.
*This trip includes the enchanting journey of the Santa Claus Express Train, the night train that connects Helsinki with magical Rovaniemi. In case it cannot be booked due to situations beyond TMC's control, the experience can be done on a domestic FINNAIR flight to Kuusamo or Rovaniemi from Helsinki, with an additional night at RukaVillage30 or similar, to continue enjoying the Christmas spirit and the magic of northern Finland.
In the morning hours enjoy a private transfer from Rovaniemi Station to the Crystal Igloo in Ruka, where you will stay for 2 nights.
Upon arrival in Ruka, you will feel an immediate sense of wonder and serenity as the pristine Arctic nature surrounds you. The fresh, snow-laden air brings a hint of pine, and the stunning scenery of rolling hills and frosted trees invites you to leave your everyday worries behind. It's a place where the beauty of nature and the amenities of a world-class destination come together seamlessly, making you feel euphoric and at home.
In the afternoon visit to a reindeer farm. 3-hour activity.
During this visit, we will visit a reindeer farm by bus. It is considered rude to ask a shepherd how many reindeer he has. But on this farm you will soon realize that there are hundreds. The shepherd will tell you stories about the animals, their predators, and the nature in which they live. You will be able to feed and pet the reindeer and take lots of photos with them. In a traditional kota teepee, you'll enjoy freshly brewed coffee by the fireplace and a traditional local sweet. The main event is the sleigh ride, which you will ride 1.5 km with the reindeer among the trees of the forest. You will also have the opportunity to visit a craft workshop where you can buy souvenirs handmade with reindeer materials.
The Magical Pond igloo experience in Ruka is a unique blend of Arctic nature, comfort and winter magic. Set among snowy forests, this accommodation offers igloos with panoramic glass roofs that allow you to gaze at the starry sky and, hopefully, the Northern Lights from the warmth of your bed. The interior combines minimalist Nordic design with cosy details – leathers, soft lighting and a nearby sauna – creating an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. In addition, the silence of the surroundings and the proximity to activities such as sledding, skiing or snowshoeing make the stay an immersive and unforgettable experience in the heart of the Arctic Circle.
Included: Sled in search of the Northern Lights - Meeting time 18:55 - Activity from 19:30 to 22:30
The Northern Lights, also known as the Northern Lights, can be observed in the polar area of the world. Our guide will take you out of the city, arriving at the perfect spots that offer us the best view of the sky to enjoy a Lappish adventure, hopefully under the auroras. The best way to catch a glimpse of the Northern Lights is to venture into the dark forest with snowshoes. During our hike, we will stop to admire nature and learn about animal tracks in the snow. If the sky is clear, we will see the bright stars and, with a bit of luck, the colorful Northern Lights. We will stop by a campfire for a hot drink and our guide will tell us interesting stories about the Arctic region. The hike is 2 to 5 km long.
Ice Karting - Optional – A whole new driving experience! - Adult price: TBC 95 €,
It takes place on an outdoor ice rink with studded tires, an activity where technical skill trumps speed. Still, the icy track might give you a spin! The Ice Karting Race has the same elements as a real formula race, but takes place on an ice track. The race begins with warm-up laps and then qualifying, which determines the starting grid spots for the final. The first to cross the finish line is the winner.
*Due to regulatory circumstances, children under 14 years of age will not be able to participate in the experience
In the morning we will start our journey to Rovaniemi. The route between Ruka-Kuusamo and Rovaniemi offers spectacular views that combine wild nature and emblematic landscapes of Finland. Rovaniemi is the capital of Finnish Lapland and is located in the Arctic Circle. It is a place full of vibrant Sami life and culture surrounded by pristine and breathtaking natural phenomena every day of the year. Free afternoon to enjoy visiting Santa's village and learning more about this world of magic.
Included: Visit to Santa Claus Village
In Santa's village, it's Christmas every day, with activities for everyone. Enjoy a hot chocolate as you mark your presence in the Arctic Circle, glide through the ice hills next to the ice maze, or stay warm inside one of the many wonderfully cozy restaurants or cafes for Christmas. You can visit Santa's main post office, where the cozy atmosphere invites you to sit back and write your greetings from the Arctic to your friends around the world. As the Arctic Circle line is marked in the central square of Santa Claus Village, you can experience something unique and exciting here: you can cross the magical Arctic Circle!
Optional : 5km husky sleigh ride - Price : TBC- 185€
This morning we start our trip with a drive to the husky farm. Upon arrival, you're sure to hear the huskies ready and eager to get out with you! By meeting the mushers, you will learn how to control and drive the sled. Touring the farm, we will learn about the life and habits of huskies. Soon we will meet our own groups of huskies and head into the silent forest (2 people per sled). As we prepare to leave, the barking and howling of the dogs grow louder and louder, waiting impatiently to run away. Finally, as you start, the huskies begin to pull you quietly and contentedly. When we return, we will be able to thank them for their work and snuggle up with them, recording the moment in photos. We will warm up with coffee, bread and sausage. This activity consists of driving a 5 km sled!

Price per cabin: TBC 245€

The night is silent and the forest is covered by a thick blanket of snow. Outside, the distant tinkling of bells can be heard... first barely perceptible, then increasingly clear.
Suddenly, a soft knock on the door. You open it, and there he is: Santa Claus, imposing and warm at the same time, with his cheeks flushed with the cold, a smile that lights up the room and a sack full of gifts on his back. The snow is slowly falling behind him. For ten magical minutes, time seems to stand still. You can talk to him, hug him, laugh, take all the photos and videos you want. Santa jokes with you, shows you a little bell from his sleigh, even lets you sit next to him in front of him for a perfect photo. His laughter echoes through the cabin, and every word of his conveys a warmth that is difficult to describe. Then he comes out of the cabin, and through the window you see him leave.
Breakfast. Private transfer to the airport to continue your journey.
